Mission Statement
First United Methodist Church of Malakoff is a member of the Northwest District of The Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We Embrace the United Methodist Church's purpose statement "To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world".
In November 2005 the members of First UMC - Malakoff adopted the following statement to express how we would work to make disciples of Jesus Christ; "We will work to make disciples of Christ Jesus as we get to know Christ and make Christ known as we Glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, and service".
